Jamie Goebig
President: Fall 2020 - Spring 2021
My name is Jamie Boydston (although my last name was Goebig during my time with AOSCM) and I served on the AOSCM board from Spring 2020 - Spring 2021. I was the Vice President of Marketing for two semesters, and then President my final semester at CSUF. I transferred to CSUF in the Fall of 2019 after completing my Associates' Degree at Riverside City College, and I joined AOSCM my first semester at CSUF. I made incredibly valuable connections, both personally and professionally.
AOSCM introduced me to supply chain and helped me discover the surplus of opportunity that exists in the Industry. The connections I made through the organization inspired me to apply for an Operations Management internship with Target during the summer of 2020, which turned into a full-time role and subsequent promotion. Because of what the club gave me, I decided to run for President my senior year and help push the organization through the difficulties we experienced during the COVID-19 pandemic. We were able to fight through dwindling membership and participation during virtual learning, and came out on top. After graduating from CSUF, I began my journey into supply chain as a Warehouse Operations Manager with Target. I was promoted about two years later and currently work as an Inventory Control and Quality Assurance Leader.
